Development of the cities in the early post-socialism. The impact of the liberalization in the nineties of the 20th century to the planned development of socialist modernism
Sedlák, Jaroslav ; Kováč, Bohumil (referee) ; Wittmann, Maxmilian (referee) ; Kopáčik, Gabriel (advisor)
Housing estate quarters of urban structures, that have been built in the period of socialism, currently suffer from the necessary urban transformations and neoplasms. While both here and in many other countries of the former Soviet satellites, is a form of housing estates and their development tied by regulations and "economic players" who determine the radical architectural or urban design changes, in areas of the former Soviet Union is the current form of housing units resulted by unguided architectural and urban interventions. Though in many cases, the expansive examples that are bordering with so called "folk art", we can observe on them the functional principles of "urbanity". They may represent a potential for future design and development of housing estates in the Czech Republic. The thesis will thematize the process of using bloc-of-flats areas in Czech republic as well as in economically low powerful countries, namely Moldova and Georgia. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, while new economic system has destroyed the original urban structure so called mikrorajon, with the development of small individualism the private sector has changed the form of the city housing estate. The total economic collapse and lack of spatial regulation began to offer an accessible alternative housing and place to do business. We can discover kiosks and gradually expanding parterres of real urban type. At the same time we can see new front of street responding to space reserves and distance, as well as appearance of vertical streets inside the houses. The construction itself is no longer just a place for living, but many flats are used as offices and small businesses. Services are developed and the total value of diversity of the environment begins to grow rapidly. Typical monotony of housing units is starting to fade and transformed into a network monitoring the needs of the population. Thus the periphery offer a distinctive part of the city.
I don’t care – Work is work!
Ferenc, Jiří ; Artamonov, Vasil (referee) ; Mikyta, Svätopluk (advisor)
Themes of my work are mass production and its error rate. The main target of my criticism is however the standard of goods, which separates aproved and disaproved ware. Beside criticism of standard I am also try to point out the power of uniformity of goods. In my opinion the uniformity of mass production can develop xenofobia and racism.
Program for monitor testing
Matyáš, Pavel ; Prokeš, Aleš (referee) ; Michálek, Václav (advisor)
The goal of this term project are problems of LCD panels. The beginning of the term project is about theoretical description of particular types and features of actual LCD panels, origin of picture defects on computer monitors, measuring and picture quality testing methods of monitors. Practical part of project involves designing testing patterns and it's realisation in Borland Delphi development environment.

Military and police uniform phenomena
Havlín, František ; Bakšteinová, Marie (advisor) ; Šindelová, Jana (referee)
Bachelor dissertation depicts historical development of military uniforms from ancient times to present military forces and simultaneously looks into influence of uniformity of clothing on life in civil sector. In theoretical part the attention has been paid to the reasons for uniform's establishment and its transformation from multi-coloured dress into a strictly functional dress using protective components and also highly presentable uniform intended for ceremonial occasions. The work looks for the military uniform's examples in contemporary fashion and the reasons for their usage by respected fashion designers. The work also deals with the term "dress code", which has been increasingly affecting the style of our clothing. This topic has been also worked out for its importance in didactic part of the work. The final part of the work studies perception of police uniform as a piece of clothing and its reflection to the feelings of uniformed and civil sphere. In an authorial visual part are the topics related to the area of the Police of the Czech Republic depicted with a slightly detached view.
Odezva kalorimetru Tilecal na miony

Title: Tile Calorimeter response to muons Author: Tomas Javurek Department: Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics Supervisor: RNDr. Tomas Davidek, Ph.D. Supervisors e-mail address: davidek@ipnp.troja.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: The aim of present work is investigation of Tile calorimeter (subde- tector of ATLAS experiment) response to muons. Muons can help to monitor spatial non-linearities in this hadronic detector. Graphs of unifromities are used for these purposes i.e. dependence of dE/dx (deposited energy per unit length) on azimuthal angle φ and polar angle θ which is represented by pseu- dorapidity η. Finally the dependence of dE/dx on energy was also studied. Keywords: TileCal, muon, uniformity, energy loss

Regime of drinking by nurses
KREMSOVÁ, Alžběta
In my Bachelor Thesis, I dealt with the questions of observing the drinking regime in nurses. The survey group consisted of nurses employed in wards of the Tábor and Pelhřimov hospitals. Observing the fluid intake is essential for the correct function of all processes in the organism. Drinking regime is one of the factors that influence the quality of nurses{\crq} work. It is therefore indispensable that nurses are sufficiently informed about the proper rules of fluid intake and that they observe them. Sufficient knowledge may also improve the care of the clients{\crq} fluid intake.
